Can I bring my own Rod?

Yes! You are more than welcome to bring your own gear, or you can use ours.

Can I bring my dog?

​You are more than welcome to bring your dog, as long as you look after & clean up after it.

Is there wheelchair access?

Yes, we cater for disabled people and people that need wheelchair access. 

Can I use the BBQ's?/Is there somewhere to BBQ my fish?

We provide BBQ's and picnic area to customers free of charge, just remember to bring your own plates, knives & forks & salad etc. OR you can take your fish to the Buxton Hotel and they can cook them for you! 

What do you feed the fish?

When are you open?

We are open every day all year round from 9am - 5pm, except for Christmas day.

How do you smoke the fish?

We smoke our fish the real, traditional way using no electricity over a mountain ash wood-fire, to create the best smoked trout in Australia.

Do you sell fish for stocking dams?

Yes, we do! Sizes vary year round so give us a call on (03) 5774 7370. Your dam should be at least 2 meters deep and you can stock approx 1 fish per 10,000 litres. We sell fish food for $5/kg or $75/20kg bag.
