Stocking Trout Fingerlings in your dam

We sell live trout for dam stocking, sizes & prices vary depending on the time of year, please don't hesitate to give us a call on (03) 5774 7370.

We pack the trout in heavy duty plastic bags and fill them with water and oxygen for transportation. For larger quantitites we can arrange delivery in our truck. We also sell fish feed at $6/kg or $80 for a 20kg bag, order online or pickup in store.

Trout are great to put in your dam as they not only provide a healthy food source, but also great entertainment & pest control whilst improving water quality.

"Brown trout (Salmo trutta) and rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) require good water quality. It is best to have part of the dam that is deeper than two metres when the dam is at its lowest level.In a farm dam, there is usually plenty of natural food and trout can forage for themselves without needing supplementary feeding. However, some people enjoy hand feeding their fish as it enables them to see their stock and increase productivity. "
